On Saturday, November 15, 2008, Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council will recognize adult volunteers for their tremendous efforts and accomplishments at our Adult Recognition Dinner at the Marriott Hotel in Riverside, CA.

What’s new this year? Our recognition event is a dinner and will provide a special evening for our Board Chair/President Jan Solecki, celebrating her years of service to GSSGC as she presides over her final Annual Meeting/Recognition Event.

Make sure to save the date – hope to see you there!

April - June 2008: • It’s time to nominate individuals who deserve to be recognized. A nominator completes a nomination and secures the appropriate number of endorsers. Note: The nominator may not be an endorser.
June 27, 2008: • Deadline for council and national recognitions! All nominations and endorsements must be at the Redlands Service Center by 6:00 pm. Don’t be late!
July 2008: • The Recognitions Task Force meets to review the nomination packets and give recommendations to the Board of Directors.
August 2008: • The staff liaison presents the list of nominees to the Board of Directors for their approval.
September 2008: • Letters are sent to nominees with Recognition Dinner information. • Two weeks later, letters are sent to the nominees.
November 15, 2008: • Recognitions Dinner at the Marriott Hotel in Riverside. More information will be available in September 2008.
