Volunteering doesn't have to be a long-term committment. You can help out at a Girl Scout event and still make a lasting impact on girls in your community. Plus, we're confident you'll enjoy your experience so much you'll want to continue!
There are numerous large-scale, one-day Girl Scout events for which we need help. All volunteers serve as role models to girls, and adhere to Council and national policies and procedures.
Customized Membership Volunteers assist with the short-term delivery of the Girl Scout program (curriculum) at in-school and after-school sessions provided once a week for duration of 4 to 6 weeks. These volunteers may also help out with groups of multi-age level girl meetings once a month. All volunteers serve as role model to girls, and are asked to adhere to Council and national policies and procedures.
Community Service Coordinators may identify community service project opportunities for girls within a specific region. They research and identify local community, non-profit agencies for potential community service projects. In addition, they serve as role models to girls, and adhere to Council and national policies and procedures.
