Participation in Council-sponsored Product Sales Programs is an important part of Girl Scouting. The Product Sales Programs fund programs and activities for girls, troops and the Council while teaching Girl Scouts important life skills. Girls learn about sales and marketing, public relations, goal-setting, money management, communication, commitment and community service.
The Annual Fall Product Sale is a council-sponsored program that combines educational activities with money-earning opportunities for girls. By selling magazine subscriptions, nuts and candies, girls can earn different patches and various awards. They can also receive exciting incentives and raise money for their troop treasury. The Fall Product Sale provides girls with the ability to learn and practice valuable life skills. They have fun while developing self-potential, relating to others and setting and achieving their goals.
