Junior Girls will camp out on Friday and Saturday night providing their own food and camping gear. Girls participate in scored camping skills. Demonstrations on Saturday morning, games and costume parade on Saturday afternoon. Troop awards will be given Sunday morning for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each of the 10 camping skills, campsite inspection, parade and the best use of theme.
Saturday night is a campfire. Each troop will be asked for a song or skit. There will be a snack provided at the campfire. Check in starts at 4:00 pm on Friday and check out is Sunday at 11:30.
Participants will need to bring:
Sleeping bags, pillow, flashlight, poncho, 2 long pants, jacket, 4 pairs of socks, warm pajamas, night cap, 2 t-shirts, toothbrush, hairbrush, washcloth, towel, underwear, hat for the sun, bandanna, lip balm.
Troops will need to bring:
tents, food, stove, ice chests, sunscreen, bug repellent, theme decorations, costumes for parade and possibly props for skit.
