Event includes exploring the ship, scavenger hunt, scheduled tours, behind the scenes tours, flight simulators (additional $4.00 paid cash on that day) and tours of the captain's bridge and primary flight control. Dinner and breakfast is provided and everyone sleeps in the same bunks the sailors slept in for 47 years. Lights out 10:30. Reveille 6:00 am and 7:30 on the flight deck learning about the catapults for launching aircraft and the arresting wires for recovery of aircraft, airplanes and helicopters on the flight deck. Closing 9:30 am. You can stay on the ship after the closing ceremony.
Registrants must be on ship no later than 4:30 pm on the 17th. Participants need to bring, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, change of clothes, toiletries, Jacket/sweatshirt, snack and wear tennis shoes/close toe shoes.
