Description
This is a 2 night camp-out of Junior Girl Scouts. Girls will participate singly or in small groups in skills competitions on Saturday morning, play games and participate in a costume paradeon Saturday afternoon and have a group campfire Saturday night. Sunday morning is the leader event, awards and scouts Own Ceremony.
Skills competitions include: dome tent set-up, fire safety, knife safety, first aid, knots, lashing, Girl Scout know-how, a practical know-how and an art project.
Girls' campsites will be inspected for safe set-up and use of theme in decorations. There will also be a troop/group T-Shirt use of theme competition. Dessert will be provided at campfire.
Troops will provide their own tents, cooking equipment and food.
